📦 PIR LDPE – Post-Industrial Recyclate

PIR is sourced from post-industrial film streams such as cutting waste, production residues, and internal rejects.
Because this input material is exceptionally clean and homogeneous, it results in highly stable pellets with excellent processing reliability.

🌿 PCR LDPE – Post-Consumer Recyclate

PCR is sourced from B2B activities, such as commercial post-use plastics (distribution centres, sorting facilities, retail).
Thanks to targeted investments in sorting, high-performance extrusion, and close cooperation with the waste and retail value chain, we now produce highly stable and high-quality PCR LDPE grades.

Key characteristics of our PCR production

• RecyClass certified
• Consistent colour (light, homogeneous) through controlled feedstock selection
• Very stable MFI ranges for predictable film extrusion
• Low contamination and strongly reduced gel formation
• Significantly improved mechanical properties compared to traditional PCR

PCR plays a central role in the transition towards circular flexible packaging, with an increasing number of customers switching to blends containing 30–60% PCR or even higher PCR content.

Our total annual LDPE capacity (PIR + PCR) amounts to 127,500 tonnes, spread across four strategic locations:

• Lommel (BE) – 75,000 tonnes/year
• Lichtenvoorde (NL) – 18,500 tonnes/year
• Markranstädt (DE) – 24,000 tonnes/year
• Przeczno (PL) – 10,000 tonnes/year
