Arnoud's story

“I worked for more than 4 years, at Morssinkhof - Rymoplast (Dieselstraat), in the production. Then I worked for about a year at another company in Groenlo as a warehouse assistant. I wanted to find out which job would suit me best, which turned out to be at Morssinkhof. I enjoy working with my hands. Since April 2022, I have been back at Morssinkhof Plastics (Dieselstraat) as a production employee".

"I work in 2 shifts so I start with a handover. I work as an operator at a mill, to check the quality and check the material and blades. For example, if the grinding material gets too hot, the blades have to be changed, which is also part of my duties. What I like most about my job is the variety and it always remains a challenge to make sure everything runs smoothly."

"My passion? My children! I have 4 of them, what a wealth. It is an inspiration to see their development and that makes me super proud. I also love running, cycling (mountain biking). I am also quite proud of the half marathon (21 km) I ran and the 7 hills run (15 km) of Nijmegen. There is not much on my bucket list, but I would still like to do some mountain cycling or cycling for a good cause, for example Alpe d'HuZes."

"What I like so much at Morssinkhof is that there are so many different people, as well as different cultures. People are open to initiatives; if you have a good idea, they listen. Everything is considered, which is great. The atmosphere is informal and I have great colleagues.”

"In five years' time, I see myself working at Morssinkhof as well. I am also open to growth, learning and development within the organization. I would like to advance to foreman and maybe even get my truck driver's license."
